Yvonne Walker

Yvonne Walker, 79 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 21, 2022 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Center in Franklin, Indiana. She was born October 9, 1942 in Adair County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Nile Glean and Josephine (Allison) Calhoun.

She is survived by her son, David (Vickie) Sinclair of Franklin, Indiana, daughter, Gail (Randy) Edwards of Columbus, Indiana, grandchildren, Cody Rodemaker and Kylie Sinclair, niece, Robin (Johnny) Gassaway, and Nephew, Allen Allison.

She was preceded in death by Robert Allison.

Yvonne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. She had been a welder at Arvin's Automotive, formerly, Arvin's in Franklin, Indiana, and then went to work at Columbus Container. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Codimo, going to yard sales, and working word search puzzles.

A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Tom Collett at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorials contributions may be made to Main Street Hospice or Otterbein Senior Life Center, both in Franklin, Indiana.
